Rentals for 2024 will be open to those in the Tsalteshi Trails Youth Ski Program only. Only skis are available to rent. Parents must provide ski boots and poles. This is for 6-12-year-old skiers only. Critter Crew parents must provide their own skis.

The Kenai Nordic Club has its annual Black Stone Axe Ridge Rally on Saturday, Dec. 9, with ski lessons for all ages, followed by a community ski race. Proceeds benefit the Kenai Central High School ski team.

Ski lessons are from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by hot chili and cocoa.
A community ski race starts at 12:30 p.m.

Registration price includes ski lessons and race entry:
$15 for TTA Members
$20 for non-TTA Members
$45 for a family (up to four people)

The Tour of Tsalteshi is a premier long-distance Nordic ski or fat bike race which incorporates the majority of the Tsalteshi Trail system into one amazing tour!

• 10K Freestyle (Half Tour, skate or classic)

Ski tour bib pickup starts at 10 a.m. with race start at 11:30am.

Fat bike tour bib pickup starts at 12:00 p.m. with race start at 1:30pm.

The 10K ski starts at Skyview and ends at the K-Beach trailhead. There is no shuttle for Half Tour skiers. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation from the K-Beach trailhead.
